HISTORIC DOCKYARD CLOCK  WORKS AGAIN

05/12/2022- Gibraltar Dockyard clock is working again

Balaena are delighted to have successfully carried out work to fix the historic Dockyard Clock Tower. The iconic clock had not been functioning for sometime, but with great care taken it is now back in full working order.

Below images show the clock tower at various stages, during the early 20th century and before the three Gibraltar dry docks had been completed, the original dark clock faces were replaced by white ones. In 2014 the Gibraltar Government and Heritage Trust worked together to refurbish the weather vane and the top stone finial being securely fixed to the tower.
